As you may know Ubisoft/EA Has given up on Far Cry 3 Multiplayer and many have problems playing the multiplayer / co-op section of the game, but i found something that worked for me and i may thjnk it wil work for you aswell, if it don't work i appologize for you're time and you may try something else. The fix that worked for me is the following:
It only needs a one time activation on the internet, however you will need to launch uPlay in order to play FarCry 3. It could take around 5-10 seconds to launch a game (judging from other games i own through uPlay such as Driver San Francisco and H.A.W.X 2) though most of it is just synchronizing saves. I'm quite sure you can disable it.
